What is NiTiNol alloy.

Usually ni-ti alloy is black surface. But for our factory, we also could offer brighr surface NiTiNol wire. As well the size we could offer could be from 0.025mm. AF temperature could be customized. But for medical usually is 15℃. NiTi alloy Nitinol is used for these medical devices because it is bio-compatible, meaning it is compatible with the human body and will, therefore, not be harmful to human tissue. Other materials that are not bio-compatible can result in issues such as blood clotting when used for similar applications. Nitinol is generally produced in large cast ingots and can be subsequently processed all the way down to ultra-fine wires that are only a fraction of the size of a human hair. The final stages of the entire process are called wire drawing and require precision control in order to maintain physical and mechanical properties

Superelastic Nitinol is commonly used in medical devices. Transformation temperatures for superelastic grades are between -20°C and 22°C [-4°F and 71.6°F].

Shape memory Nitinol is commonly used for actuators and other industrial applications. Transformation temperatures for shape memory grades are between 22°C and 80°C [71.6°F and 176°F], with some grades offering temperatures greater than 85°C [185°F].
